Howl-O-Ween Carnival

Hey puppers! I want to tell you about the fun K9 Carnival I went to this past Saturday. My mom told me about the carnival that my Aunt Heather found so of course I had to rest up all afternoon in preparation. (I'm not 5 anymore ya know..my naps are very important.) So while I was resting, my mom had to decide what costume for me to wear. We decided to go as a cowboy (me) and a cowgirl (mom). I was so excited on the whole ride there. I had my head out the window and of course I whined the entire time! When we got there we noticed there were a bunch of dogs and I won't lie, I was a little overwhelmed at first. After people started "Oooing" and "ahhing" at my costume, I felt right at home. Now I know what you're thinking..."dogs hate wearing clothes!" Now this may be true sometimes, but when you are walking around and the pawparazzi is following you wanting more pictures, it's hard to care about your clothes. While we were there, I was given treat bags, pupcakes, and a few other things that aren't as exciting as the treats to me. Now if you know me pretty well, you know I LOVE ropes. I have about 10 ropes of my own. So when my mom won a raffle and the prize was a giant rope, you better believe I was excited. I couldn't believe my luck! And to top it off, mom and I won BEST PET/OWNER DUO COSTUME!! We got a cash prize of $100!! I can't wait until I get to go shopping for new modeling attire and MORE ROPES!!! Whew. I wish all my doggie pals could've been there. My paws are getting tired now. I better go take my 8th nap of the day. Farewell my furriends!
